Yay! I got the job!
Well I just heard back from the lady who I talked to earlier. I got the job! Can you believe it! I'm not jobless anymore. And I might have a permanent job if I do good for 6-8 weeks. Dear lord and lady please let this be the job that I succeed in. Just thought I would inform you all.

No news like good news
Well I talked to someone this morning from Aetna insurance. She told me they are in need of 7 people immediately. I am hoping that with luck, I will obtain the job. Afterall, they sound pretty desperate. The job would be a contract at first and if they decide to keep me I would receive benefits. I would be paid 10.00 an hour for a 40 hour work week. I'm just excited. Because this will mean money coming into my account. Yay! Anyway, talk later.

Okay
Well I have had a pretty okay day. I still am having tensions with Jen. I feel that she does not appreciate me for still being there, but oh well, it is not my fault if she got yelled at. My job is pretty easy. I am the person who cleans the lady's locker room in the morning. I do not have a lot of responsibilities and I usually get done within an hour, but it is a pretty ok job. Anyway I will update later with more.

I have a job!
Hey everyone! Well I went back to New Life Fitness World after I called Chasity at the gym. She wanted me to come in and talk to her and Jamie face-to-face. So I did and I talked to them and explained the situation. I told them exactly what had happened and they decided to give me a job cleaning the women's locker room. I will go in at 9:00 tomorrow and begin training. So I have some questions and I will probably be asking a lot of them tomorrow when I go in. Anyway, I am hoping to get the other job over at It's a small world so I will have extra money. If I can get 2 part time jobs then I will be able to contribute one paycheck to my family and keep the other to myself for other bills. Anyway, talk later.

Terminated
Well today I learned that I was terminated from my job on Friday because of a stupid mistake that my manager made. I do not feel that it was my fault! I was told that I was supposed to work alternating weeks on the friday night shift. Goddess I just want to smack someone up the head. Help me be calm! I am not going to the Halloween party now because I am so angry. I know many of you are telling me to let it go, but I cannot right now. It is too much. Anyway, talk later.

My job
Hey everyone! Well I just thought I would report on my job! It is going great so far! I absolutely love my job! I babysit children at New Life Fitness World and it is such a wonderful job. I am feeling real stress-free right now. I have a job and I am just happy! Though there are times that I have to discipline a child (not physically) but for the most part I love my job! I have to take pain killer because on Tuesday I got a headache. I am going to be working 23 days in August. So I should be getting in my hours. Anyway, thought I would update!

New job starts today
Hey everyone! Well today I start my new job at 5:30. I am excited and nervous. I am going to have to use the time card system to clock myself in and out. It is really nervewracking. I am going to be working in the nursery and I am excited about that. I hope it is a stress free job but who knows what today will bring. I just hope I do well today. Anyway, I will talk later.

Yay! I got a job!
Well today I went to an interview at New Life Fitness World in Columbia, SC. I got the job immediately. I can't believe I finally have another job. My stressing over a job is finally over. I will be starting work next week on Tuesday. It is only a part time job now. Maybe in a couple months I can look for another part time job. Although, I really want a full time job...I am just happy I am going to get money in. So I have to focus on paying bills and paying for this stupid class that I have to retake. Anyway, that is all for now.

Another interview with Waffle House
So I have an interview at 12:30 with someone from Waffle House. Ashley, the girl who I met before, is going to be there also to give me a test. So it will probably last till 2:00. I just have to convince this guy that I am management material and keep a positive attitude which I am sure I can do. So maybe I will get this job. Ashley says she really likes me and she wants me to be hired. So I am praying to the gods and goddesses that I will get this job. It will help me tremendously. Anyway, gotta get prepared.

Yesterday's Interview
Well as you all know that yesterday I had an interview for a management position at the Waffle House. I think I might get it. I went and we went over things like my job history and stuff like that. We also went over the wages I would be receiving and just basic things. She said that she really wanted to hire me but I have to interview with her boss. So I am hoping she will call me tomorrow so we can discuss things. I hope I get this job. I want it and I need it. Anyway, gotta go.

Want a job!
I am so bored. Goddess I need a job! I want to get one so badly. I have been submitting applications online and trying my best to make sure that I submit to every place I can. However it is so hard. I am so pissed that I don't have a job! I am going to see if I can talk to Melinda tomorrow and see if she will help me find a job. So anyway, there is my rant for the day. ^_^ Thanks for the reviews. You all are so great!

Busy!
Well yesterday I went on my 2nd interview with Triple M. They are an advertising agency. However, I think now that I look at it that I want to wait to weigh my options. I am about to graduate and once I do so I have more options available. Plus I am going to call OfficeTeam in a few days. I just cannot settle until I find the right job. I have to find a good job. Oh well. I will talk later.

Job doubts
Well I think I have told everyone that I quit my job. I never realized how lucky I was having a 9:00 to 3:00 job with H & R. Maybe even less hours. I was lucky because I was in a team environment and I felt that the people there really cared about me and would help me through my mistakes. Spherion and UPS is different. There is a no screw up environment and I just was not cut out for temp work. Maybe it was the commute. I don't know, but I did not like working at UPS even though I met wonderful people and I learned a lot. I just could not handle it. I was also late and anyone who knows me knows that I hate being a late and there is an extreme problem with lateness. So today I went in for a job interview. I felt blindsided. This guy started saying names and said for me to say the first thing off the top of my head. I felt like I was in a psychologist's office. Yeesh! I felt like I did not make a good impression. I would have been training for a management position. I suppose I will not know unless I get a call soon. I just felt so dejected after leaving. I could not think and I did not want to not impress him. Gosh I feel so stupid!

Childhood Dream Job
When I was a little girl I watched this movie called The Land Before Time. I do not know if many of you remember it, but it was about these five dinosaurs named Littlefoot, Petrie, Sara, Ducky, and Spike. I was inspired when I was little to be a paleontologist and study dinosaurs. It seems that dream has faded until recently. Sometimes I wonder if the business degree was just for Mama. Sometimes I wonder if going to Culinay school was just for my parents. I still wonder if I should go and get a paleontolgy degree when I graduate or go back to get another degree at South. Your opinion?

So angry with my job
I have decided that I am quitting my job at UPS. I normally would not do this but I cannot take it! I shall explain why and hope that nobody thinks me a quitter. First of all, I have been late 3 times in my trial month which does not show well on my record. Before, I was never late. I have been making a constant effort but I am getting worn out and honestly I am not going to be at a job which shows that I was late and does not care when I try to make a good effort to be there. Second, one of the supervisor's and I are really butting heads and I am not going to stay in an environment which I feel I am not being heard. The good thing is that Jennifer at AppleOne is going to be sending my resumes to a bunch of people so I am hoping that I will get a job very soon. I am going to talk with Vanessa tomorrow and I am going to tell her that the job is not working out for me and that I am not going to stick around. If this makes me a quitter then so be it, I would rather be with a job that I like than a job I do not like. If I can't find that right job then I am opening my own business. Anyway, talk later.

Good week so far
Well so far I am having a good week. Yesterday and today I did all of my districts. So I hope that I will be able to do so tomorrow plus help with more districts. I will be happy if I can get all of my work done tomorrow. I feel good when I get it done and completed. I am starting to like working fulltime except on Saturday. Lord and Lady knows that I am having difficulty there. Oh well. Talk later.

So angry
My day was terrible. You all know what kind of schedule I am on with UPS. Tuesdays through Fridays I work 7:00 to 3:30 and Saturday I work 4:00 to 12:00 (i'm supposed to). Well the reason it has been terrible is because of several reasons. First, yesterday Craig (my supervisor) asked if we could come in early, so naturally I said yes. I get up at 1:30 and about 2:46 I roll into the parking lot of UPS and no one is there. So I am very angry. I have to wait till everyone shows up at normal time. So I was basically running on 3 hours...maybe a bit more of sleep. Then, I fell asleep at my desk while doing my third district. Thank the lord and lady that Tish woke me up before I got another offense. After that, I took my lunch break and Vanessa came up to me and told me that I should wait till 10:00 to have lunch. However, I have to have breaks so I can eat and keep my blood sugar level. It just has not been a good day. Anyway, talk later.

Well my interview is at 2:15 and I cannot wait to go. I am excited because they may hook me up with a fulltime job or may not. I am still applying as I said before. I am going to see how it goes today. I have an interview next week so I am looking forward to that. I am really feeling my life is taking a turn. Got an interview
Guess what everyone?! I got an interview! Well I finally got an interview after sending in a bunch of applications yesterday. I have it on Monday at 1:30 pm. So I can't wait till I go and interview. I am going to have to wash my really nice clothes for my interview and get some new stockings this weekend at wal-mart. Anyway, talk later.
