Feeling great
|
I am feeling great and really proud of myself. I went to the gym today and I really cannot believe that I am doing it. I went three times last week. Twice with Yvonne and once by myself. I went by myself today and was on the bike (trying to gain muscle in my legs) for 30 minutes and on the eliptical for 11 (my back started to hurt). I'm really proud nonetheless. At least I am making an effort to change myself and my body. I am going to be a size 14. I just have to work really hard at it. I can do it! In other news, I have to be put back on Human Growth Hormone. My endocrinologist said so. Anyway, talk later.

Wiped out
Okay so let me tell you about the beginning of my day. I had an appointment with my trainer, Santana, and I woke up at 6:00 in the morning. Now I had less than 6 hours sleep. So I left early and went to my RPM class and did about 45 minutes of pedaling and believe me...it was exhausting. After that I had my appointment with Santana and we worked my biceps and triceps and all that other stuff. But mostly she worked my shoulders and arms. Then after that I did about 10 min. of the eliptical and burned over 80 calories. So after I did that I go back home and I do not kidd you, I collapsed on the couch and fell asleep for about an hour. That was how tired my body was. Anyway, enough of my bitching. Oh by the way...Trini (our new dog) is a Yorkshire terrior. A full-blooded Yorky. Well I will talk later.

So achy yet proud
Well I had a tough day at the gym today. Hell...I always have tough days. Anyway...I woke up at 6:50 to hear my little dogs barking. I had breakfast then went upstairs and dressed for the gym. At 8:25 I went off to the gym and once getting there I had my RPM class. I saw Jan and she looked happy to see me. I was happy to see her and David. They are such good instructors. They can motivate even the laziest person I think. I didn't get to stay the whole class, however, I did get a good workout on the bike and yes, I did use the gel seat so my glutes didn't hurt as much. There was still some pain...but definitely not as much. I then had my training session with Santana and I had a pretty good session. She worked me out on all types of machines, including the treadmill. I also worked on my balance some. I tell you...it is so hard to stand on a rubber half-ball thing. After that I was on the eliptical for over 20 minutes and burned over 130 calories. I am so proud of myself. Anyway, I will talk later.

Beat my record
Well as I mentioned on Friday of last week, I stayed on the eliptical for 40 min. Well yesterday I beat that and I stayed on for over an hour and burned over 300 calories. I am so proud of myself. All I have to do is turn on that MP3 player and start rocking out to the music and I am totally into it. I just am so proud of myself. I am going to my RPM class tomorrow, having my training session with Santana, and going to do the eliptical again. I might try the treadmill or the other bicycle. So we will see how many calories I burn tomorrow. ^_^ Wish me luck.

Proud of myself
I am tired yet proud. I went to the gym today and I had my 8:30 appointment with Santana. She worked me hard, as usual, which I am really appreciative to her for that. Afterwards, I sat down for maybe 5 minutes or less then went over to the eliptical...well one of them. Now, I mentioned yesterday that I got an MP3 player. Well I took it to the gym and listened to it and guess what?! I burned over 200 calories and stayed on the eliptical for over 40 min. My previous record was maybe about 10 minutes at most. I am so proud of myself. Now, when I go to my class on Wednesday I have a gel seat to ride with. I'm being totally serious when I say that if you plan to take an RPM class, don't go in without a gel seat. Your butt will hurt after 10 minutes of sitting on that thing unless you are a professional or have done it many times before. My glutes still hurt two days after! Anyway, I am going to go and take a nap hopefully.

No pain, no gain
Oh Goddess. I just came home from an intensive workout at the gym. I saw my trainer, Santana, for my 8:30 appointment. She worked me with the weights. I also did about 4 minutes on the eliptical because I had a class with David. Oh my goddess! RPM is so hard. Let me give everyone some advice, if you intend to take an hour long RPM class get a gel seat for a bike. Oh Goddess! My glutes hurt! I know ya'll are laughing at me and telling me that it's just my first class and everything, but you try it and see for yourself. However, I am proud that I made it through and I look forward to be able to going every week and getting used to it. Anyway, I will talk later.

Work out
My Goddess! Today's work out was a very hard one. I went to the aerobics class (Body Vive), which is one hour long, then I had a 30 min. session with Santana. She was great as usual. She wants me to work on my balance because it is terrible as heck. In my opinion at least. Today with the Body Vive class I felt much better. I was doing better with everything. The only thing that gives me trouble is this one aerobic exercise with David where we do crunches then rise up. It burns up my legs like fire! However, it is a good thing. My muscles and tendons are getting exercised. When I finish my six week session with this I will be able to keep up and feel no pain by the end. I can't wait! Anyway, thought I would update.

New exercise clothes!
Well today I went shopping and got some new exercise clothes! I am so happy. It is really cool. Now I have some cool new clothes to exercise in. The old ones that I used were not made of cotton and not very breathable. So anyway, I got two matching outfits, one black and white and the other brown and white; a grey sports bra (I haven't purchased one in over two years); two shirts (one white and the other grey); and some white shorts. So I am so pumped to get to workout tomorrow with Santana and David and Jan. I can't wait. Anyway, talk later. Got homework to do.

Goals completed
Well I finally completed my goal lists. I have one which I did for all the days of the week. It is way too big to put on here but I am going to try to go by it and do everything I have to do. I also have some exercise goals which I figure I would post here.
-By May 2007, I want to weigh 150 lbs.
-Everyday I need to do at least 5 reps. of 10 with the 5 lb. weights.
-Everyday I need to do at least 20 min. of step aerobics, if not more.
-Every week I want to learn and try at least one new yoga position.
-Everyday I need to do 20 min. of the treadmill.
-I want to lose at least 10 lbs. a month.
Anyway, I thought I would update. Talk later.

Hey everyone. Sorry I have not written since the ninth. I have been so fucking busy with trying to get everything ready for school and also exercising. Yes. I have finally joined a gym with my parents, more specifically Golds Gym! Crazy, because I have been wanting to join a gym for a long while. I think I will like Gold's Gym. I especially like my trainer Santana. She is so nice. I am trying to do a little research on obesity and dieting. I definitely have a goal of being 140 lbs, which Santana says is doable. But I would ultimately like to be a 120 lbs and be able to fit in my sister's stuff. Out of the whole family, she is the only one who is under 200 lbs. She's a damn extra small. If I am just a medium, I will be happy. But my goal for now, for this year at least, is to be 140 lbs. I am looking forward to losing the inches from my belly and to get tone and fit. And by the time Samantha (my sister) and Erik (her bf) and Grandma see me, I will be fit. Anyway, new category for this. Exercise. So I am going to try to post weight loss goals for month and my weight loss for every week. So here is the skinny (hehe) on my weight and stuff so far:
Current weight: 231 lbs.
Current waistline: 43-44 inches
Current hip: 50 inches
So hopefully that will change within a few months. Talk later.
