Seashells are something that are both easy and fun to find and collect, and beyond being attractive to the eye and making nice tokens from the beach and decorations around the house here is another use for them.

Bring home a seashell however small and place a few grains of sand in it to symbolize time unfolding happily. Put a lock of your hair, or a few strands into the shell beside the sand. Place the shell in a star shaped container or make a small star with five points from ribbons or flowers, and set the shell in the center.
