The ocean is a powerful symbol and element and much power can be drawn from it for its strong energy, and the many things it represents. It is a symbol of peace, strenght, freedom, passion and wild rage. It often gives people a sense of spirtual healing and bring a sense of calm and serenity, but it also holds an unstopable and destructive force.

Here is one ritual to take in some of what the ocean has to offer.

On the frist day that you see the sea with a proper tide run straight into it and flick the foam up in the air and say. "Carry my hopes to far-off places. Grant that I be in Lady Luck's graces. Neptune, Lord of the Sea was happiness over me"

Through some of the water over your head and bow. Feel the tide come in, and then pull against your feet as it goes out. New strength will enter your life, and you will be immeasurable happy within 24 hours.
