8/27/2006 - For Whom the Bell Tolls

Bells can commonly bee associated with churches, and at most churches, particularly the older ones they are ever a pressence, but beyond thier pratical use of telling the hours of the day, announcing prayer times, and making pretty and haunting sounds they serve another purpose as well.

Bells are known to drive away demons and entities of negitive energy, and it is generally a good idea to have a bell or two on hand. If you suspsect that there might be unwanted forces in your house. Or a room which exudes a negitive feeling you can walk through ringing a bell to drive it off.

To genreally deter negitive energy and premote more posistive energy at your home, it might also be a good idea to hang some windchimes around the house, as the noise they make much resembles that of a bell, in addition to producing soothing sounds and acting as some decoration they my serve for you another use and make your home unwelcome to those that you would not want there.
