Here is a plant which I use to grow and have used before with sucress for certain ailments. Here is a a list of the possible uses of Violet.

Medical

Effective in healing ulcers, used both internally and externally for pimples, abcesses, tumours, and swollen glands. Also good in treating malignant growths.

Magickal

In a pillow will help ease headaches, carrying the flower brings a change in luck and mixed with lavender makes a powerful love satchet.
