Heroes such as Mael Duin and Brendan embrarked on long, hazardous sea journeys to magic lands. They went fro different reasons; to carry out penance, or to avenge wrong, or to find the Isles of the Blessed. They returned home after many adventures, wiser, and more virtuous.

Life is a spiritual journey, as full of surprises, perils, and rewards as any fantastical epic adventure. The value of life lies in the trip itself, and in what we make of it. Look back at the lessons you have learned and be sure to use them to your best advantage on the voyage ahead.
