To secure the heart of the one you love

Write your name and the name of your lover backward in red ink on sperate pices of pink paper, and reflect them in a mirror next to a lighted pink candle. Dab the for corners of your bed with lavender oil. Place the piece of paper bearing your lover's name in your left shoe and your name in your right shoe, while saying

Bright is the path of true love-light

(persons name) heart melts for me tonight.

Place both shoes together, as if they are a pair, snuff out the candle and sleep facing the shoes. Your amour will soon come running.
