6/4/2007 - Realize your Desires

This is a simple candle ritual I came up with to aquire ones dreams, wishes, desires, etc..

The best time to preform this ritual is on the night of a Full Moon.

Choose a candle that is either in the color or shape that most represents what it is you wish for.

For example, if your desire is related to love or romance, then a red/pink candle, or a heart shaped candle, or if you seek a woman, a candle in the shape of a woman, and if you seek a man, a candle in the shape of a man, would work well.

If what you seek is job, carreeer, finance, related, then a green candle would be a good choice, a candle that represents a particular job, for example a gavalon for a judge, the scales of libra, for a layer, or something else related to the legal/justice system. A cat, dog, bird etc.. for a Vetrinairan, and so forth.

You can also inscribe runes or other symbols upon your candle that relate to your desire.

Do not forget to follow your intution as well, for example if one particular really seems to speak to you, and you seem particuarly drawn to, in connection to what you seek, even if you cannot rationaly explain why you would choose that candle, trust your instinct if it feels right to you.

It might even be a good idea to just cruise around a store and just browse the candles and see if any of them really seem to call out to you, or if any strongly appeal to you, though it is not required to use a new candle, for this.

Once you have your candle find a quiet place wher you will not be distrubed, and where you feel comftrable. Light the candle and turn off all other lights. By the light of the candle write on a piece of paper what your desire or wish is. As you do so medicated upon it, and visulaize its actualization. See yourself has having already obtained what you wish. Then fold up the paper, at this time you may wish to invoke the God or Goddess of your choice, in whatever way you wish to. Gather all your energy, focusing on your goal as you feel the energy flowing through you, light the paper in the candle flame, then place it within a censor, or other fire safe bowl to burn, as you do so release all of your energy up into the cosmos, and imagine the energy gathered with your desire rising in the smoke.

Let the paper burn complete to ash, and then blow out the candle take the bowl outside, and spread the ashes to the wind, and then try not to worry or think about it again. You may repeat the spell again on the next full moon.
