On a clear night with a new moon go to a spot where a stone rests naturally in the earth, and standing upon the stone say:

According to tradidtion you will dream of or meet the partner of your future sorrows and joys within this moon's reign.

1/9/2008 - Scrying Spell
Light a white candle, or a silver candle if you wish to do some scrying. Traditionaly you would use a bowl of water with the Full Moon reflected in it, but you can use the reflection of the candle flame instead. Let your thoughts drift as you gaze at the light, and see what images you get.
Write them down and think about a person or problem and try again. See what insights or answers you are given. There is a soulution to every problem. Allow your inner mind to help you.

11/29/2007 - Who will marry first
Here is a bit of folk magick that might be fun to play with a sister or close friend
To find out which of two unmarried maidens will be the first to marry, have each take hold of the same wishbone and together break it into two pieces while saying
"Bone, I wish the future read. Who shall be the first wed?"
The girl who receives the bigger of the two peices will walk down the asile before ther other.
This old method of marrige divination is English in orgin and dates back to at least the Middle Ages. Derviving from it our popular custum of two persons making a wish while breaking the wishbone apart.

10/29/2007 - Apple Peel Divination
This is a very old spell best done when close to Halloween or at the dark of the Harves Moon. First peel an apple in once continuous piece. If you make a mistake and break the peel, keep peelingh that apple and try another one. This would be good to try while baking an apple pie. Once you have accomplished your task, throw the apple peel over your left shoulder onto the kitchen floor. The peel will form the initial of the name of your future weeding mate.

9/28/2007 - Cloud Divination
In the wilderness, one a day when there are fluffy clouds in the sky, you may preform this divination.
To start fix your mind on something you wish to know and look down at the forest floor for about five minutes so so. Then look up at the sky and see what shapes the clouds suggest.
Interpret what you see based on what you want to know.

9/2/2007 - Tarot Wheel Divination
You will only need the major arcane portion of your deck for this reading. As you shuffle and cut the major arcana cards ask the question you have in mind. Then, pick up the cards while keeping them face down. Working in a clockwise direction, lay each card facedown forming a large circle with enough spach in the center to hold three cards. Then in a clockwise motion circle your power hand over the cards and say three times:
"Round and round the tarot wheel, let the truth be revealed"
At the end of each statement stop your hand above a card at random and place that card facedown in the center of the cirlce. Select two more cards, placing them from right to left then turn each card faceup from right to left.
The far right card is your past, the middle card is your present situation, and the left card will reveal your possible future outcome.

7/1/2007 - Crystal Ball Gazing
Crystal Ball Gazing, formally known as Crystallmancy, I have referenced briefly as a form of scrying, but I thought I would talk about it in a bit more deatil.
A crystal ball can come in a varity of colors and sizes, and types, the best way for one to choose thier crystal ball is to go grazing. That is go to a store which sells them and without any true intention or anything speficif in mind just cruse around untill you spot the one that seems to stand out most to you, and draws you in someway.
Once you have your crystal ball it might be a good idea to clense it before any attempted use, becasue you do not know what energies might be imprinted upon it from those who handeld it before you.
Gazing into a crystal ball helps to open the third eye, and the images that may appear in the ball are imprints reflected from your subconcious, that you might not have access to otherwise, so the subconcious or thrid eye communicated with the concous mind by projecting images into the crystal for you to view.
The images can range from clear precise pictures or perhaps people, places, objects, almost like looking at a photo or watching a movie, or to symbolic images along with the images you gazer might have certain feelings come to them as well.
The best way to try and crystal gaze is to find a comftrable place that is dimly lit, sit down before your ball, clear your mind and just gaze within its surface keeping your mind clear, and wait for the images to come.
It might be a good idea afterwards to record all you see and feel, this can help with your future awarness as well as allow you to try and decipher it, for during the reading itself it is best to just let things come without trying to understand or anylyze them while they come.

Another form of rather common day divination, that can be quite useful in helping to determie what we should so when we have several choices to make, is the out of the hat draw, or the name draw.
This would work espcially well in situations, in which you might have multiple purseurs, or if you have mulitple job oppertunities, or perhaps you are trying to decide upon a new home, or vaccation and have more then one possible place in mind.
After you have already anylyzied over each choice, and made a list of pros and cons for each possiblity and elliminate as many of the choices as you can through rationality and reason, but if you still find yourself stuck with more then one choice each of each seems to be equal in benifits and disadvantages, you may want to empoly a more mystical method to aide you when your logic is spent.
Write down the name, title, etc.... of each of your possible options on a piece of paper, each on a sperate peice of paper, and then fold the peicies of paper up and place them inside of a hat. Shake the hat up and meditate upon the choice you have to make.
Ask the fates to help guide you in the best possible desision for you, and then close your eyes reach into the hat and draw one of the peices of paper. You may either simply take the first one your fingers touch, or you can sift through and take the one that seems to draw you the most.
Then open it up to see what the fates have decided for you.
If you still feel doubtful about the choice, you may start the process again starting from square one, and reanyzling untill you are able to feel confidence and certainty in what you choose.

I thought I would talk about a couple forms of divination that are perhaps not widely recgonized as being true divination, and do not envolve any great ritual or magick, but are common occurances that most if not all of use have had experince with at one point or another. And yet though they might not appear to invoke any great power, they are nonetheless a means of turning to the fates for asnwers on what we should do, when feeling as if we are in a posistion of being stuck and not knowing which way to go.
I will start with the very old and quite known and popular practice of the coin flip. Who has not turned to this at one time or another to aide in an ellusisive disision when we feel as if our own powers of reason can take us no farther, and we still lack the answer or choice.
The coin flip can work in a few different ways, most commonly and most well known, is either in the deciding between two different things, or simply deciding in yes or no asnweres. Or wheather a thing should or should not be done.
After one has weighed the pros and cons of both possible choices, and find them equal with each having equal and yet different possible benefits and each having equal yet different possible disadvantages, seeming there to be no logical or rational way to decide, a coin may be flipped in which one choice is labled heads and the other choice labaled tails, and so we put our trust into the fates to guide is on the direction in which we should go on.
The coin flip can also be used as a way for one to feel less personaly responsable for a choice they are about to make, or to use it as a sign that they are doing the right thing. This can be the case if one is considering enganging in an endevaour that envolves some risk to themselves, and that might have unfavorbale outcome. One might flip a coin. To use both as a sign from the fates that they are right to do the thing which they might have some doubts about, as well, so they may feel less personaly guilty if things do not turn out well, they can take some of the burdon off thier shoulders and see it that they were following the path fate had laid out for them.
There is also another way in which the coin flip might be employed, a way in whch I am quite found of. This method, allows the subconcious to come through when the concious mind does not know what to do. It is also a way for one to communicate with and listen to thier intuition and instinct. In this way the coin flip works in reverse you might say.
That is, the set up is the same, when trying to choice between option A and option B, one choice is named heads, and the other is named tails, but after the coin is flipped, if you suddenly find yourself wishing for a particular outcome, that is you are hoping it lands tails, instead of heads or visa versa, or if after the coin is flipped, and you are dissapointed with the outcome, because you suddenly find yourself wishing that it had came out the other way, then that is the true desision you should make.
For example if the coin lands heads, but you find yourself wishing it had been tails, then you should go with tails. Becomes sometimes the concious mind can get in the way of our inutiition becasue sometimes it does overanylyze and overthink things, and makes more confussing and complex would should be simple, and the act of deciding to trust the flip of coin stills the mind, becasue you are no longer actively thinking about the problem and in quiting the concious mind in this matter it allows the subconcoious a chance to get a word in, so to speak, and so that is why when you at first thought you were stuck and did not lean one way or another, after the coin has been tossed you suddenly find yourself knowing the choice you want to take.

6/28/2007 - Auguary
This is a technique I developed myself a few years ago, admittidly the name auguary came from a fantasy book I was reading around the time I came up with this technique, becasue I did not know what else to call it, and it seemed fitting at the time.
Auguary is a difficult thing and a bit elusive but it can still be a vuluable experince and help develop the mind in other ways to aide in other techniques down the road. It is in some ways one part lucid dreaming, one part meditation/trance, and one part astral projection, and yet it is turly none of these things. It just combines different elements of each of these practices.
So just what is Auguary? Well it is a sort of soothsaying technique, different then ESP or physhic ability in the way it works, for one thing it is a state you acutaly put yourself into, while pyschic ability tends to be something that just happens to a person.
And the things in auguary can be a bit more obsecure, sometimes it might be litteral, sometimes it might be symbolic and it could be something from past, present, or future. I find it a good way, right after comming out of the state of auguary to jot down in a journal all that you may have seen, heard, and felt.
So now, just how it works. Well I will explain the process as best a can, but part of it you will have to figure out on your own just exprimenting.
Choose a comftrable posistion, sitting or laying, I usually always did it laying down, and make sure you are not tired at the time, and do not try to do this right before going to bed, you do not want to fall asleep.
Close your eyes, and block out your surroundings and clear your mind, as you would in getting ready to meditate, and once you manage to reach a meditative state you want to open your subconcious mind, tap into a part of your mind you do not normally have acesses, you can see it a flower unfurling, open yourself up and just let go.
At first you might see colors swirling and blurred moving togehter into each other, just follow this, move with the flow of it, move through the colors like a veil or a mist, as you do so, images should start to reveal themselves, of places, or maybe people, they might come in flashes, or in a sequence, the imporant thing is not to draw back or be afraid but to keep moving with it and just follow where you are being taken.
The sessions can end themselves, that is to say the images will simply start to fade away and you will be brought back to yourself, become more aware of your surroundings again and the vision will be lost, but at any time you can end if you like simply be opening your eyes, becasue you will not loose complete awareness of yourself and a part of your consicous mind will still remain there with you.

I stumbled upon this in my research and found it intresting, I think I might try it out myself once I am able to go out and try and collect some good stones.
Lithomancy
The divination method using stones popular in the British Isles and Europe. Each stone supposedly has a significance of its own, and the divination is accomplished by tossing the stones and interpreting the arrangement in which they fall.
Thirteen stones are used. They are selected from their natural environment during favorable astrological configurations, and with the aid of intuitional guidance. Ideally, the stones should be smooth and nearly uniform in size and shape. They may range from pebbles found on a beach to semiprecious stones such as agates or various crystals.
Seven stones represent astrological signs: the sun, moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn. The remaining six stones represent the home, love, life, magic, luck and news.

6/4/2007 - Daily Tarot
In addition to revealing complex patterns behind major events , tarot cards offer a way of examaning the minute details of day to day life.
To select a card for the day, cut the deck three times reciting "Goddess of fortune, come what may. Show me now the face of this day."
Then shuffle the cards until one falls out of the deck and use that as your card for the day. Look up its interpretation, which highlights the potentioal oppertunities and challanges you will face.
Number cards indicate minore or routine events.
Court cards indicate imporant personal interactions
Trump cards indicate significant or unusual events.

5/30/2007 - Right Love Spell
If you are uncertain about a present relationship or want reassurance for the future, or wonder if the one you are with is your Mr. or Ms. Right, then take two silver coins and throw them up in the air saying "If this love is right, make it stay, if this love ir wrong, let my love go."
Watch the coins carefully, should the coins fall close together or if both coins land heads up, the love is true. Should the coins land far apart, or tails up, you may sperate in time. One head and one tail indicates a rocky road with much speration and reuniting along the way. If the coins land on top of each other, you will be married before the years end.

5/15/2007 - Vision of Love
The drippings from candles you use in your spells and rituals can help divine who your future love might be. Save them and when ready melt the bits of wax in a pot until the mass is liquefied. Pour a good amount of the melted wax into a bowl of cold water. As the wax cools in the water it will take on a unique shape.
Let your mind go free as you look at the hardend wax figure, much as you would while watching clouds in a blue sky. The wax will form a shape that will reveal something about your future love. For example a sailor may be represented by an anchor, a fisherman by a fish, a banker by a money sack and so forth.
While this rite may not bring your future love to your doorstep it can point you in the right direction and give you a clue for what to look for.

The idea of using magick to try and find love, see the face of your future lover, find or attracke your soul mate and so forth are as old as time. This is a method I have used, and something more or less of my own creatuon, though it is quite simple and brunt it is nothing I read of in a book just followed my intution and I can say that it worked and it worked swiftly and well. If you feel you are ready to settle down and have been having trouble finding the right someone this is something you may do to help the process.
I would recomend doing this if possible on a Full Moon, at the very least on a Waxing moon (when it is growing) avoid doing on a New Moon or a Wanning Moon.
Do this just before going to sleep once you are laying in bed, it is really great if you are able to see the moon out of your bedroom window but not required, but at the very least you should be looking to the nightsky out your window.
Address the Goddess of Love of your choice, I prefer Ishtar becasue I feel closest to her and always felt a relationship with her, but you may use the name and persona of your desired choice, Venus, Aphrodite, Inanna, and so forth.
While looking to the moon if you can, or if not looking into the night, address the Goddess in a manner of your choice, if there is a blessing you like to use, or if you just wish to offer her praise and call her name and tell her what you admire about her, then once you have invoked her how you wish, ask her to show you or send you some sign of the one whom is to be your soul mate and companion for life. Tell her you are ready and seeking and call upon her to guide you and help you. Then give her your thanks.
When I did this the very same night I had a dream with a vision of the one whom I knew I was to spend my life with, and shortly there after, in a manner of days we met.
The imporant thing to remeber about this though, is this does not mean that your true love is going to just fall in your lap, you still have to put yourself out there in some way to get thier attention once they have been revealed to you.

5/2/2007 - Past Life Recall
Many of us our aware that we have had past lives, and may even have memories of those lives, but sometimes things which happend in the past can still affect us today, and we may seek the answeres to present and future in the past, here is a way to get in touch with your past lives
To begin obtain a full length mirror. Once you have your mirror set a bowl of water out under the Full Moon (which sould be in the sign of Pisces, Cancer, or Scropio for best results) If possible use a green or blue filter though which the moonlight can be focuses (a colored glass jar will work) Leave this under the moon for at least three hours but be sure to remove it before the sun rise
Using the water wash the surface of the mirror completely. Next dry the mirror leaving no streaks. This must be done within three days following the Full Moon. If you are unable to complete this, then you must wait untill the next New Moon.
When you are ready to begin using the mirror, set it upright on the floor in a quiet setting. Place a candle in front of the mirror. Sit before the candle and mirror so that the candlelight falling upon your face slightly changes your appearnce. Study this face until you begin to feel this "person" (your reflection) is not you. Then allow yourself to sense this person, seeking an impression. Try to visualize the surroundings of this person's time. Repeat this exercise untill you have "seen" at least one our two people. Feel free to use your intuition as your explore this technique. WIth patience, you will also be able to link with some of your past-life personalities.

2/5/2007 - The Wooden Dish
If marriage is your goal try this spell,
On St. Swithin's Day (July 15) or St. Valentines Day, take a wooden dish outside and place it somewhere it will not be disturbed. Into the dish you should place a strande of your own hair with on from your loved one. If you cannot get this, use a leaf on which your initials are scractched together. The next day you must look at the water that has collected in the dis. If the water is clean and clear, your lover will love you and you alone, more turly than he or she has ever loved anyone. If it is dirty, or has some blades of grass on it, you still have some way to go to deepen the love, for someone else has been in his or her heart and has not completely lost sway. However the love will now deepen slwoly if you are patient. But if the dish is empty, a relationship offering you security will not yet be formed, or not with the one you hope for. Toss the water from the dish but keep the names or hair and fill the bowl with petals to sweeten the love.
