8/21/2007 - Turquoise Amulet
The ancients regarded turquoise as a powerful magickal aid to ward off illness and the evil eye. You can use turquoise to make your own amulet for protection. To begin, during the waxing Moon take a peice of blue turquoise or an item of blue turquoise jewlary and hold it in your hand for a moment. In your mind's eye picture a blue light surrounding you. Hold the stone to your heart and breath on it to charge it with with your power saying "Stone of blue, surround me with protective energy. I am protected by your soothing blue light" Carry your turquoise with you or wear it as often as you can. Handle it frequently to keep the spell active.

7/24/2007 - Saturn Stone
Charge a small stone of Saturn correspondance to carry with you as a charm of protection: Black tourmaline, apache tears, or snowlfake obsidian, or find any dark colored stone in the earth that feels solid and stable, and strong.
Find a quiet outdoor place and sprinkle a cricle of salt on the ground, large enough for you to sit inside, and hold your stone. Close your eyes; ground and center, drawing Earth energy within you.
Visualize rings of energy swirling around the Saturn stone, building and increasing to surround and emanate from you. Within the rings you are strong, solid, secure, and shielded from harm.
In the future , whenever you feel the need for extra protection hold your stone to assist you.

7/22/2007 - Holey Stone
Stones with a naturally occuring hole in them are considered good luck by many people. If you are so lucky to find one, wear it around your neck by a cord through the hole. Silk or cotton cord is best, do not use a metal chain. Do not wrap the stone in wire, or otherwise tamper with it.
Looking through the hole is said to give one power of second sight and the ablity to see the invisble world of fey.

7/16/2007 - Crystal Charge
This is an all-purpose spell for charging your magick crystals and stones.
To start, collect the crystals and stones that you use in ritual or simple keep in your house becasue they have attracted you. Just before the Full Moon, clesne them with salt water, then place one a windosill where the light of the Full Moon can bathe them.
A night or two after the Full Moon place the crystals and stones in a circle on the floor, as you case a circle around them. This can either be a physcial circle, or one made with visulization.
Sit in the center of the cirlce and let the energy of the crystals and stones come into you. Softly chant "Crystal vision, crystal sight, let me find my power this night."
You may want to come prepared with a question or issue you would like to resolve. Clear your mind and lete the answer flow in. When it feels appropriate, ground your energy and thank the crystals and stones for their help.

If you have been having trouble getting your point acorss, take one small peice of turquoise or turquoise jewlwary and enchant the stone by saying "Stone of sheer diplomancy, make my voice herd. The point that I must make today must not be distrubed. Remove the clouds, make clear the mark, as I will so mot it be"

6/28/2007 - Choosing Your Crystal
When you chose a crystal - it will seem to 'call' to you as if it has been waiting for you.
This is because you and that crystal are on the same frequency.
The crystal will 'catch your eye' and you will feel an immediate connection, even if it is not the crystal you came for. When you hold the crystal in your hand, you will feel a connection of frequency.
Some people find crystals. Some people 'feel' that crystals find them.
Once you have your crystal - the next step is to clean and clear the energies from it. You clear it to clean frequencies in it that are not in balance for with you.
Quartz crystals and gemstones easily attract all kinds of 'vibrations'; negative as well as positive. The stones are always 'open' to receiving impressions from everyone and everything around them! Your stone, which you have just selected, may well have traveled many thousands of miles before coming to you - and may well have acquired many negative energies and ' vibrations' before it became yours.
Therefore before starting to use your stone for any purpose whatsoever it is very important that you first remove any of these unwanted 'vibrations' and disharmonious energies. You must do everything you possibly can to ensure that only the most natural - and purest - energies remain within your stone.

5/25/2007 - Bring Your Desire
To bring about something you truly desire, in the evening, lay a crystal on some black cloth as you meditate on the powers of the ancient gods. Settle down in the near-darkness and fix your gaze on the crystal, willing power into it. Take your time and eventually it will begin to glow, perhaps dimly or more brightly, with a white, green or gray, mist about it. Then pick up the crystal and rub it between your hands, drawing its power into your body. Then put the crystal down (your hands may be glowing now too) wait thiteen breaths as you build the power even more and shap it into your desire, then throw the power forth with your hands. Afterward light a candle or turn on the lights, and wash both your hands and the crystal in cold water to remove any residual glow.

4/26/2007 - Healing Rock
There is a long history of using varrious gems, crystals, and what are known as preacious stones often as aides in healing, medatiaton, protection, and as the brigning of good luck and good fortune, and so forth. But you do not always need gems or preacious stones, just plain, simple rocks can be utilitized.
This is a method I came up with myself, it is a sort of healing which works best in the case of muscle ahces and pains, pulled muscles, sprains, knots, kinks, cramps, and things of that nature.
You may use any sort of rock that can be found just laying around upon the ground, though I would say that a flat rock with rounded edges, in a oval or circle shape would work best, for one thing the smoother it is, and the less sharp edges the more comftrable it will be for use in this technique.
First thing, charge the rock with healing energy, as I have mentioned before I visulize healing energy as purple, but some prefer to see it as white, or yellow, so whatever works best for you. Hold the rock between your hands and visulize the energy flowing from your hands into the rock untill it spreads through out the entire rock. You need not do this for a long time, A couple mintues or so.
Once that is done press the rock against the area which is causing you pain and discomrfort, if you can find a way to keep it in place there without nessciarly having to hold it in place, for this will leave your free to go about your bussiness while the healing is in progress.
Now after you done this, it really makes the healing more effective if you understand your chakra (energy points within the body), after the rock is placed around the area that is in need of healing open up the chakra closeness to that area and feel the energy spread through your body and around the injured area, this will help to further disperse the negative energy of the pain while the positive healing energy from the rock is flowing into you.
The pain should soon start to melt away into nothing

Amethyst: sharpens the mind and outweighs negative thoughts
Emerald: fortitude & strength, espcially in old age; increasses the gift of understanding
Sapphire: cheer & joy; maintains bodily vigor
Peral: chasity, tears & joy
Garnet: health & joy; thought to cause discord between lovers
Opal: good for the heart, eliminates congestion from the ai & dissapates sadness; good for those with weak eyes
Topaz: idyllic love, opprescess anger, turns sadness to happiness & brings wealth and honor; belived to protect from injury or attack
Turqoise: non-violence; belived to protect against accidental death, brings courage and love; symbol of youth and innocent love

9/19/2006 - Healing Powers
- Quartz is a strong healing crystal, as it can help to focus and channel healthy energy, directing it to the point of sickness. It is the crystal most often used to make healing wands, although you can also use smaller stones.
- Rub the affected area gently with your crystal and visulize golden light passing from the earth up along your spine, through your heart, out along your arms and through the crystal. The crystal will amplify the healing energy as it passess into affected areas.
- Passing a quartz crystal over each of your bodies energy centers (known as chakara which I will discuss more fully) in turn will clear any backages and help energy to wash through you.

Quarzt's amplifying abilities can help to increase your phychic awareness. To activate your crystal you will need to carry it in your pocket for a week. This attunes the crystal to your body's energy
- When you meditate, try lying down with your piece of quartz at the crown of your head. Your crown chakara (I will discuss chakara more fully at another time) As you do this concentrate on your mind opening and your awareness expanding.
- Holding your quarzt crystal against your "third eye" the center of your forhead, can give you inspiration and insight.
- Holding you crystal in your hand before you sleep can help to remember your dreams
- Quartz can also help you to focus your dreams. Before you sleep hold your quartz in your hand and think about any porblems you have. Place the quartz under your pillow while you sleep to help your mind work through the issues.
- Gently rub your quarzt crystal against your brow to stimulate your crown chakara- the energy center at the top of your head

Quartz is a gem which has many mystical and magickla attributes, used in an assortment of different rituals, from healing, clensing, divination and so on, here is a little information about quarz and its useses.
Glass and Water
Quartz's clarity and purity give it magickal similarities to water and glass. It can be used to wash away negative energies from your body and enviroment. In crystal ball gazing (scrrying) it acts as a window into other worlds, a portal through which, for instance the cause of illness can be revealed.
