Take the symbol of Ma'at and assume a posture of offering, say:

We praise you, Mistress of All
Without whom there could only be chaos
Through whom all is manifest.
We, who breathe you
We, who exist in you
We, whose bodies are of you
We, whose thoughts flow through you
Honor and glorify your name!

When working with fire I like to call upon Loki, I created this invocation as a way to call upon Loki, when working a spell or ritaul that draws upon the energy of fire. It can also be used to charge a candle with the energy of Loki.

Fire forge burning bright

I originally wrote this on request of someone who wished for a prayer that would help prevent them from being bothered by other people and things

O Great Goddess
grant me your wisdom and power
of perseverence in the face of adversity
that naught shall reach me

Honored Goddeess
lend me your understanding
so calmness comes to me
all negativity washed away

Goddess
give me peace of mind
in the face off all that may happen
O' Goddess release me
from worry and anxiety others would put upon me
let not the world without
corrupt serenity within.

5/24/2007 - Invocation of Bacchus/Dionysos

I have always been found of Dionysos, the genreally well known god of Wine, and patron of the stage. This is an invocation I have created and written myself for Dionysos, also known as Bacchus, his Roman counterpart, though the later Greeks had taken to calling him Bacchus as well.

O'Great Dionysos

friend to man and beast alike

I invoke thee this night

Bringer of joy, good cheer and ectasy

Great Bacchus I ivoke thee!

Spread your fertile seed

acorss the land

giver of life

patron of duality

I invoke thee!

Dionysos of the vine

Bacchus of wine

from your chalice let life flow free

O'Great God I invoke thee!

Sometimes we need to call upon the Gods, or otther spirtual and etheral beings, and forces to help us in a spell, ritual, or perhaps just to ask thier help for a problem, this is an invocation to call upon The Horned One

Cernunnos, also known as the Horned One, is a God from the Druid tradition he is the God of fertility, the beasts, life, and the underworld or as the Celtis frequently knew it, the Otherworld. It is also said that he was born in the winter solistice, and marries the Goddess during Beltane, then dies in the sumer solistice, and he is portrayed in connection with the sun, for it is said that he alternates with the Goddess of the Moon in rulting over life and death and contintue the cycle of death and rebrith
