Flirting is probably the most fundamental dating skill you can have. If you are fun to flirt with, women will love to be around you and if word gets around, they might even start initiating contact themselves. Flirting should be fun and noncommittal. It's not about getting her into bed, at this stage. Good flirting is about initiating a playful kind of contact and getting a "feel" for your opposite. Depending on how it goes, this might soon lead to attraction and seduction.

Here are four tips for flirting with women:

1) Relax and don't try to be something you're not.
Don't try too hard to impress the woman you are flirting with since this will usually backfire. If you come on too strong, she will probably feel cornered and will try to get away from the conversation.

2) Ask and and listen.
Everybody enjoys talking about themselves. We are all the most important person in our lives. Make sure that you don't spend most of the time talking about yourself. Instead, ask her questions about herself. Take a genuine interest in what she tells you. Nothing is more flattering than genuine interest. Ironically, if you let someone talk about themselves and shown real interest, that will make you an incredibly interesting person in their eyes.
Of course, that is not to say that you should never talk about yourself as well. Just put a bit more emphasis on listening than on talking.

3. Be authentic and straight-forward.
If things don't go perfectly, don't try to cover it up or ignore it. That's what everybody else does. If you notice for losing interest, don't just keep on talking. Instead, you could try commenting on her lack of interest (making a joke about it) or even excusing herself and leaving the conversation. If you exit the conversation before she does, that will automatically make you more interesting.

4. Test her boundaries (gently).
This fourth tip is very important, because this is what makes flirting fun. These her from time to time and test the boundaries of for sense of humour (gently). If you are constantly polite and politically correct that just makes you bland and replaceable. Stand out from the crowd by being slightly cocky or commenting on a situation by saying out loud what everybody else is only thinking.
