As I was walking home on Saturday afternoon I couldn't help but notice up ahead a woman with 5 children crowded around a tree ! As I got closer I could see what was going on ........this woman (who should be shot and pissed on) ....was standing on the sidewalk right beside the curb with ALL 5 children TAKING A PISS beside the tree !!!!!!! Four girls all over the age of 5 had their pants DOWN and squatting on the pavement , beside them a BOY with his penis in full view spraying his urine all over the place too !!! I was absolutely disgusted and could not help but to rip her verbally up and down !!!

She was embarrased and KNEW she was wrong !! What the FUCK is that teaching those innocent children ?????

I walked away with a HUGE adrenaline rush shaking my head and saying " What the fuck am I still doing here" ????

Hi all - it's been a while since i blogged !!! I really need to vent about this .....what an experience , NEVER AGAIN .....

If any of you out there want to waste ur hard earned money and come to this dreadful country , be prepared for intense belly pains !!

This is what i am going through right now !

I had a normal weekend and didn't eat anything out the ordinary and woke up on Monday morning with SEVERELY painful intestine area cramps !! It was VERY sharp and felt like a knife was stabbing me! I thought to myself what on earth could be wrong  ! I had no choice but to tough it and still go to work ! This morning which is now Tuesday i woke up with the same thing ......but the pain was much WORSE and i couldn't stand or take it ANYMORE !! I called in to work and told them i am going to get checked out ......something is not right  ( i know my body) ! 

Now i prepared myself for MANY people ....but not THAT many , I swear to God there was atleast 10,000 people in the Chao yang hospital alone nevermind standing around outside !!! PEOPLE EVERYWHERE !!! Now of course if it wasn't for my AMAZING husband NONE of this would have been possible !

Any and all patients that want to see a doctor first must register and pay a small fee , so we line up for that ! Fifteen minutes later we finally see the cashier and are told to go up to the 3rd floor , we get there to face a HUGE lineup! I'm bent over in pain so my hubby waits no more ! They then send us back down to the 1st floor to see another person , we are then told to go to the 2nd floor ....keep in mind this is all done through CROWDS of diseased and sick people (of course spitting , smoking and hacking everywhere) ! We get there to have a doctor write on paper that i need to get an ultra sound done, he also pushes and presses all over my belly ! Back down to the 1st floor we go ....wait wait wait ...finally get my ultrasound done to find nothing major going on in my indsides !  They send us back up to the 3rd floor to do a pee and stool test .....oh lovely , i'm thinking do i REALLY have to go in those disgusting washrooms ! ?? Off i go , get my finger pricked (trusting that is hard too) , do my washroom stuff ....hand it all in and wait wait wait wait !!!! We finally get the results and I'm told that i have " Inflammed Intestines" .....caused by who knows what  !! They then send me across the 1st floor to have a doctor read it and write my prescription ! The line ups are MUCH worse now ! Old people on stretchers EVERYWHERE !!! I'm then sent to another room to get an injection in my ass that only costed 1 yuan (but my ultrasound was 102 yuan ...go figure). The nurse finally said ....ok your good to go !! MAN .....3 hours later to find out that !!!

MY POOR HUBBY !!!

Me again !!

Ok ....lets face it ...most of us love babies ...they are tiny and cute and cuddly etc .....

This is something that really disturbs me about chinese babies !!

As you know china is a developing country , but i don't give a shit ...there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for the following !! :

Most people here are very poor and cannot afford diapers ...some have NEVER even seen one or know what to do with it ......so if you are walking down a street here in china you will see this :

A baby being held by either the mother or father WITH pants on ......BUT -the pants that u see here are not like THE ONES we put on our babies at home .....these pants are RIPPED from the front all the way to the back in the CROTCH area .....this gives full access to their private parts AND in plain view for ANY stranger to see !! This is disgusting, first of all i do not want to see a babies ASS CRACK , little penis or little vagina while i am shopping in a supermarket , on the bus , in a restaurant OR browsing the streets !! I'm sorry but please cover that shit up !!!

NOW ....when the baby has to piss or do a number 2 .....this is most often done on the sidewalks ...NO KIDDING , i've seen it with my own eyes !! The peeing part is quite funny , as you will see the parent squatting holding the baby like in a swing position and making ssssssssssssssss sound in the babies ears ...to make him/her want to piss !! Fucked up thinking but anyways ..this is china !!

I was on the bus yesterday and there was a man holding his baby with a Coke bottle held under his penis , in fear he would piss during the bus ride ....it looked so ...ummmmmmm i cant seem to find the right words !

While walking down  streets in chinese cities , you WILL smell piss ( from those that do it in the bushes or just hang it out against a tree), the worst smell is the sewage ....really strong and burns the nose . If you travel here beware of the sewage crates .....in the winter you can even see shit steam coming up from them!

What on earth is this teaching the children ? What happened to cloth diapers like when my folks were poor ? Can't they take their baby to a washroom and try to atleast teach them some manners ?? All these questions .....but no answers !!

Disturbing i say....................... very disturbing !

Hi All !! I haven't wrote a funny one in while , but i'm sure this will make you smile !!

Some of you might not know but..... Chinese people have ABSOLUTELY NO talent , they can't sing , dance , rap , act and they are not even funny ! I watch chinese T.V sometimes and feel that it is just so ridiculous i just have to shut it off ( although i do feel like blowing it up) , my computer life is much more entertaining !!

Over the years i can't help but notice that EVERYTHING that is on Chinese T.V is COPIED from us =meaning western television .....here are some examples:

Of course you all know the hit show Survivor ....well the chinese have copied that !

You all know the Bachelor / Bachelorette ........well the chinese have copied that!

We've all heard of rap and hip hop ....well they even TRY to do that ! THE WORST is  one guy even tried to copy Snoop Dogg .....ohhhhh what a mess !!!!

We have tons of games shows .......they have copied all of them !

The famous American Idol ....well there is a Chinese Idol !! ( IT SUCKS)

Stand up comedy ......yah they don't have a clue ......chinese have nothing on Chris Rock, Seinfeld or others ...etc !!

Everyone likes cartoons .....chinese cartoons are RIDICULOUS !!!

We all love to use Yahoo and msn messenger ...yah well the chinese have created their own chatting method using QQ ( IT SO SUCKS) ......even has a "pile of shit" icon !!!

BUT THE NUMBER ONE THING THAT REALLLLLLLLY BOTHERS ME ..........Is that one ugly chinese chick has COPIED the best show in the world ............"THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW"  .....the couch , the blue screen at the back , the audience , the stage shape ...EVERYTHING is the same as my idol , my queen , my favourite woman in the world....MY Oprah !!! This just makes my blood BOIL !!!!

Hi All !!

Hope you have been reading and enjoying my blogs !! I do love writing , so i wouldn't want all this to go to a waste !!

Well this blog is about my hubbies work situation here in Beijing !! This sucks ......he is a qualified massage therapist ( has the papers and everything) and  is experienced in Chinese therapy called Cupping!! Well for him to find a decent job is really hard reasons being : the hours are really long ( all places are 12 hour shifts) , the money is terrible and working conditions suck !

I personally DON'T want him working , I am a qualified English teacher here in China and I make alot of money , so when i come home from a long day at work i want my hubby there to greet me with open arms , dinner cooked followed by a foot massage ( by the way , when he was unemployed that is what i came home too)!!! Keep in mind the currency exchange here : 1 Canadian dollar is equal to 7 RMB( yuan)  ........so he is now working at a spa , there are ten other workers and they all take turns! A person would get the full body treatment including a facial etc .....THEY would pay the BOSS over 300 yuan and my hubby would get a MEASLY 20 yuan for working his ass off making sure THEY are comfortable ! Like please ....what the hell can you do with 20 yuan in Beijing ! That is nothing , I get that just walking through the door of my classroom !!! Not to mention that is all he could make in a 12 hour shift ! I don't have alot of free time as I now have a GREAT paying full time job and 2 part time jobs ! We plan to save as much as we can and open our own business in Canada ! BUT ....when i do have free time , i would like to spend it with my husband .....BUT OH NO .....his boss has taken care of that by using him ! They even have to pay for food and allowed no visitors !! I hate this and i have no control over it as my hubby says ..."I am the man and I should be taking care of my wife " ..... i see his point but for that little money it's not worth it ! I'm staying in this nasty country for HIM .......oh yah ...to never see him !!! : (

This blog is dedicated to my BEAUTIFUL , WONDERFUL and TALENTED Mother who I love more than all the tea in China!

As some of you may have heard , China is VERY famous for Tea !! You can go ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE in this country and guaranteed you will see tea shops , tea pots and people drinking tea !! Green tea , flower tea, Jasmine tea , yellow , red , purple tea , lemon tea , ginger tea ......anything you want to put in boiled water ....it's here in the LAND OF TEA !!

There are even famous mountains that are known for the BEST Green tea in the world ! EVERY restaurant has complimentary tea and we all love to drink it while waiting for our meals ! Something that is VERY different to western countries , we like to drink a soda or alcoholic beverage while dining out , but not here ...it's ONLY TEA !!! Some foreigners hate it as to them it just seems like hot piss in a cup !!

The Chinese believe that tea is very good for your health ..which it is , but too much of course is not good for you ! They also believe in drinking hot water , i personally hate drinking it , to me there is nothing like a freezing ice cold glass of water on a hot summer day !!

The tea shops are really cool , little miniature tea pots and cups all hand painted and decorated nicely , along with tea sampling and a HUGE variety of any tea imaginable !!

The thing that means the most to me about tea is when my mum writes me an email ! The message ends with      " Take care Sar and remember I love you more than all the tea in China " !!!!

We all know that every country and every culture has certain things that they believe in .......here are just some examples of what the chinese think :

If you have hard ears means you don't love your parents !!

If your second toe is longer than your first toe you also don't love your parents !!

If you eat cow penis it will make your own penis bigger !!

If you don't wear enough clothes in the winter you will catch a cold !! ( They have no idea about natural immune systems)!!

That all foreigners are unhealthy and fat !!

That black people are dirty !! ( Actually to me black people are the CLEANEST people i know , and chinese are THE DIRTIEST EVER!!! )

If you have big , stick out ears , you are known to be wise and knowledgeable!!

All foreigners look the same !!

Grandparents are respected MORE than anyone !!

To call a teacher by their first or last name is REALLY rude !!

Without education you are nothing and will be poor !! ( Absolute BULLSHIT!!!)

Drink deer blood from their antlers will cure all ur sickness and colds for life !! ( I've seen it being done ...so sad) !!

If a pregnant woman eats alot of apples during her pregnancy her babys skin will be really white!! HAHAHAH ...so funny !

The DEAD : In China , people "worship" their dead loved ones by burning fake paper money on the side of the streets , they think this will let the dead ones know that they miss them and care !! LOLOLOLOL ( GUESS THEY HAVE NEVER READ THE BIBLE)

A pregnant woman can't DARE be near dogs or any kinds of animals during pregnancy !! ( YAH WHATEVER)

This one is dedicated to my good buddies Derrick and Alan !!!!! I miss the good ole days !

While living up north , I wasn't always alone in the crazy uncivilized world - I did have 2 GREAT buddies who were also teachers there!! Derrick a fellow Canadian and Alan from the beautiful Aussie land Australia !!! We all worked hard , shared stories , ideas and often dined out together ! We all made the big bucks $$$ so we could afford to go to the nicest of restaurants ...one of our favourites was called "Fu Lin yuan " = The Fly Hotel !! The waitressses there were nice , the food was clean and delish and seeing that Der and Al were both single it was great for them to look at tight bum bums!! LOL

One night i was a little busy so they decided themselves to attempt eating at an unknown barbeque restaurant ! I was the only one that could speak chinese out of the three so i was able to order and do all the translating for them !! Of course without me it would be a little difficult but they didn't want anyone to know they had no clue , so they ordered food themselves that night ! They were handed the chinese menu of course ALL in chinese characters ( i can't even read most of it) ......sooooo looking like cool cucumbers they just pointed to anything !!! HAHA ........well it worked and before they knew it food was showing up fast ! They both took the screwers with "who knows what " on them ......did the sniff test , thought ok smells alright ....let's try !! All the food tasted ok to them and before you knew they were full up !! Paid the bill and left to walk home , hoping nothing would come back up !!

About three days later , Alan went out with some friends and being in a small city ,they ended up in the same restaurant , well the waitress recognized Alan and told his friends what he had ordered the other night !! Little did Der and Al know but what they were eating that night on scewers was nothing but ........COW PENIS !!!!!

Hi All - I really miss blogging these days !

But you see Chinese people have SHIT FOR BRAINS ....and they have turned off the heat early this year in Beijing , They seem to think that it is warm enough ! My computer room is absolutely freezing , no matter no many layers of clothes and socks i put on i still can't feel my own body for shivering ! It's truly ridiculous that we have to open the window for heat !!

Hi !!

You might find this unbelievable ,,,BUT the VERY SAD thing is that this kind of thing happens alllllll the time to us foreigners !! How on earth can I try to stop it !! Please read ......

Like i have wrote b4 in my last blogs , my hubby and I were living up in the far north freezing our butts off and working hard for little money !! Let me tell you first of my working/teaching experiences here in China !! I first got here in 2004 and was hired ( before i left) by a company also in jilin province called Tian Shuo ......little did i know that they are known as the "Chinese mofia" for hiring innocent foreign teachers !! They told me that i had no choice in where i would teach as they have the contracts with schools all over Jilin province .....so that is how i ended up in nasty Dunhua city ....i was to teach in a highschool called Shi yan ......turns out i loved it ...that is why a signed a second year contract !! The students were great ( who i now miss VERY much) ...the pay was excellent for that area and the best part was that i didnt have to deal with the compnay everyday ....as i was 7 hours by train from them ! As long as i did my 20 classes a week and received my salary at the end of each month i didn't care ! The school also privided me with a sweet apartement ( all paid for ) with computer , net and all westernized appliances ! I was considered VERY lucky compared to the nasty horror stories i had heard about the other foreign teachers working with our company ! I then married and we decided to travel .......we were away from Dunhua for 3 months and i did have jobs, we both didn't like the other cities so we decided ....screw working for other people ...let's open our own English School !! So we did        " Sarahs English School " opened last year on my Birthday November 12th !! We had a GREAT grand opening ceremony and we all were excited to make some real money !! Many people had asked me b4 ...why don't u open up ur own school ? you will make alot of money here as u are the only foreign teacher here in this city !! So WE DID !!  Time went on ....and we were hoping to make some fast cash .....the first 3 months were great ....i was busy with 5 different age groups EVERYDAY !! The students i had were awesome and they loved coming to my classes !! My school was VERY clean and derorated in a very classy way , all new desks and chairs , glass brand new black board and tons of chalk lololo!!! I thought we would be a hit ! After some time ....business died down ....people loved to just use me for coming in and watching my classes ! I had to finally put a stop to that ...and tell them .."HEY ....you either trust me as a foreign teacher with perfect pronunciation ...or NOT " You pay us the money and THEN i will teach ur child ....none of this garbage of me teaching ur kid 4 to 5 free classes first .....then u leave ( they just use me ) ...i just won't have it that way ! Well of course in a small city ...word gets around fast .....so if i piss off one woman , then EVERYONE will know!! I'm still not sure if that is why business died down ...but i did have students cry when i told them that i will be closing my school !! My hubby couldn't find a good job in Dunhua ....so that's when we decided to head to BIG overpopulated dirty Beiijng !! I started my job hunting via computer ( tons of ESL job sites) .....i turned down many as i feel now with my education and GREAT experience i deserve a decent paying job !!  This is where it all begins ...........

I had a school called " Beanstalk International Bilingual School" write me and offer me a teaching position , we communicated back and forth for 2 weeks by email and even my hubby did all the talking to a woman named Charlotte on the phone! She then asked me if i could teach music , something i have never done before , BUT i did do ten years of piano , six years of trumpet and i love to sing ( i've had to do that in all my classes over the years) , SO SURE ...i can teach music !! We explained to her that our cash flow was low ....she then said no problem - we will take care of your apartement for you !! UNFORTUNATELY in China , we must paid 6 months or a year worth of rent UP FRONT !! Not like home where we pay first and last only ! Plus if you deal with a renting company , we also have to give them a chunk of cash !! She said she has 3 different places for us to look at when we arrive and then said " PLEASE GET HERE ASAP ...WE NEED YOU " .......now all of this is based on TRUST .....as many of you know about the chinese HUGE spring festival holiday, so buying tickets is mere IMPOSSIBLE ! I told her we are trying our best , but i and my hubby have no control over this matter ! We finally got our BUS tickets to Beijing and I told her i will arrive at the school first thing Thursday morning ( March 1 st)!! It took us 3 hours by car to a city called Yanji .....then 17 hours from there alllllll the way to Beijing ! We arrived and like i said ...went straight to the school , keep in mind , we have a small dog , tons of luggage ( hence were moving) , haven't had any good sleep , or shower or even time to take a shit - i get there and she says ok now go to your classroom , u must stay here all day and work ! I'm thinking ok ...can i atleast see the apts. first .....she then says ..."Oh Sarah , you are the head teacher of the Yellow class , since their teacher Matthew (american) needed to go home for something urgent for 3 weeks , so u will cover for him " .....UMMMMM OK ...what the heck ...she didn't tell me that on the phone , i then asked what about my music teaching job , "Oh" she says " You have a one month probation here , we will decide if we want you after matthew gets back " ...... I was in shock  ...DECIDE ...you have lied and dragged my families asses here all the way from up north and i still am not guaranteed a position after you use me not to mention all my stuff is sitting in their office and we are now homeless !!!! ????????? WHAT THE FUCK !!!!

Thank God for my husband ...he is the one that went to look at all the apartements while i'm trying to BABYSIT 17 nose picking children !! By lunch time , i called him and he said 2 were terrible and the 1 was good ! So that afternoon , i had no choice but to ask them if i could go look at my hopefully future apartement .....the office lady Cynthia says ok but if u leave you will not get paid for today !! Ummmm ....whatever , by this point i was just ready to say fuck you all of you and leave ! I went over to the renting office , went to look at the place , it was perfect , we wanted it really bad ! Oh no ..one problem , the phone bill has as outstanding balance which needs to be paid before we can have our internet hooked up ! Oh and guess what the internet can only be in the landlords name ...oh and guess what else....he is NOT EVEN IN CHINA NOW!!! Well screw this idea ...my hubby said i will go and look MYSELF and deal with the landlords one on one ! That night we had to fork out cash for a hotel and the next day off he went ...home hunting !! He found 5 by noon BUT one in particular he said was great for us as the rent was cheaper and we could pay up until August or the next 3 months .......after i finished work friday afternoon , I then called charlotte and told her we have a place , could she please give us the money to pay the rent ... " NO, we don't have it " she says .....WELL I LOST IT !!! I ripped her verbally up and down explaining everything she had told ME and MY HUBBY on the phone followed by when i am finished with you , you won't have a job anymore you lying bitch !!! I then got straight on the phone to BIG BOSS Cathy .....we VERY NICELY and calmly explained the situation , within 10 minutes we had 7,500 yuan in our hands for the rent !! In the school contract states that they will pay 2000 yuan per month rent , pay me 8000 yuan for my salary. So in actual fact 6000 ( 3 months rent) is from the school , and i had to borrow only 1,500 ....which of course will be taken off my pay ! No prob ,,,,,,at this point i didn't care ....i just need a bloody good shower take a shit and a place we can call home !! Got the cash in hand , flew to the landlord , signed the contract , moved our stuff and voila ...we have our own apartement !   

I continued my job as the head teacher of the yellow class , i really hate getting up early in the mornings and really started to bond with them and their lovely parents !! This is where the unfair part starts .... (sorry this is so long , my fingers fly on this keyboard lolo)  !!!!    Friday morning Matthew came back , wow was i ever happy to finally meet him as all i have heard the past 3 weeks ...is matthew this and matthew that !! I had prepared a little skit/song/dancing surprise for him , so we preformed it perfectly and he cried !!

Noone from the office has even talked to me or brought me my music teaching contract for me to look at or sign ...so i decided i would like to go over to their other school and have a little meeting with the principal Mike ! He had NO idea about my job position and he gets told nothing when it comes to hiring and the teaching job postings on the computer ! He then said " Sarah to be honest with you , we don't even need a music teacher here , we already have 2 " !! Well .....i felt my stomach go up in my throat and I explained to him my situation ......he did feel sympathy for me( he's Canadian)!!  He suggested that i talk to the big boss Cathy to find out what is going on !! She was not in her office , so i ended speaking with her assistant Susie who then said Sarah we will call you with our decision this afternoon !! I knew the answer ....they didn't need or want me !!! They dragged my ass allllll the way down here , lied to me and cheated me JUST to cover for Matthew ....now the work is done and Matthew is back ....i'm not needed !! It was just one big FAT LIE !!! I went home to read an email saying " You are a great teacher and blah blah blah .......we have no position for you right now " ........BUT THIS IS THE WORST PART ......the money , since i borrowed 7,500 and my pay is 8,000 .......at the end of the day i should be getting a whopping 500 yuan , but instead the email say ...please come and pick up your 227 yuan pay !! WHATTTTTT???????

I will be in there office FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING .....they better WATCH OUT !!!!

I lived up north in a province called Jilin , in a small city of one million people called Dunhua !!

There is absolutely NOTHING to do in that city except DRINK DRINK DRINK .........followed by puking on the streets !! I was the first white foreigner to enter that city , so u can imagine the stares and questions i got !!

A normal taxi ride would go as follows (in chinese of course):   " Where are you from ? "   "How much money do you make"? (money is the ONLY thing they care about here)   " How old are you " ? and "Do you have a boyfriend"?   ....like please give me a break ...i just need to go to the local market to buy some fruit !!!

Some people up there do speak a little english including my highschool students ! They would see me walking down the street and run right up to me .....it's of course NOT a Hi how are you ....it's            " Where are you going" ? ......i don't know about you all but I HATE that question ....when someone wants to know my personal business it REALLY bothers me ! To them this is a kind thing ...to me ..it's just plain NOSY!!!!! They also have a very abrupt way of speaking English so it comes out even more rude sounding !

EVERYDAY at work  ....the nosy old cleaning ladies ask me " What did u eat for dinner lastnight" ......"Did ur husband cook for you"? ......"how much were your shoes"? ......"Will ur hubby meet u tonight "?  ....."Did he bring you to work today ?" ........when u first walk in ...not wanting to be there in the first place ...those things are SOOO not important ! Just plain NOSY !!!

Hi all !!!

Hope you have been enjoying my stories  as much as i have been writing them ! I 'm so pleased with the feedback ...all positive stuff thanks keep it coming !!

Well we all know that there are millions of over weight people in this world ...some of us can help it and some can't ! I know people do look down on those that are heavy and in our heads WE ALL make comments ......well not in China .....THEY WILL SAY IT RIGHT TO UR FACE !! I know i wrote before about the two faced thing  ...but this is something we don't want to hear said to our faces !! Old people , young people ....even small children will say " wow ....you are so fat " ......it is especially embarrassing infront of many people !  In chinese the word fat is PENG ......so when u hear "Ni tai peng" = "you are very fat"  .....it's not music to the ears !! I was over weight when i first came to china and because of their EXTREMELY FATTENING food ...i gained even more ....about 4 months after being here i finally said ok this has to stop ....i started to really cut down and do some serious exercising ! I lost 150 lbs NATURALLY by myself in no time !! I felt great and the best part was i could buy clothes in china and i didnt have to hear the word PENG anymore !!  Since some really bad depression here and i had a minor operation done on my knee last year i have gained back all my weight ....i eat because it's comforting like most of us do , I now hear this word more than 5 times a day .....i have learned to ignore or when i'm  in a really bad mood and i speak chinese i simply tell them "You are ignorant and i am foreigner ...DO NOT EVER SAY THAT AGAIN ....if u were in my country ...u would get a smack in the face" ......most are understanding and some even do apologize ......it really freaks them out when i show them skinny pictures of me in my wedding and tell them that it's the chinese food that has gotten me this way !! Of course they deny that too like everything else!!

This just happened to me TODAY!!!

I was at work and for the past 5 days i have been feeling like shit ...well living here can easily do that ...anyway ...i have been having really bad abdominal cramps and the toliet problem ( i will spare you the details) , so i asked if i could leave early to go get checked out at a local clinic ! Of course no problem ...if i bring back a doctors note !

Off i go on the packed dirty bus , get off and head to a local place that i have seen before ! I look up to see the big white sign that of course has chinese characters BUT under had English writing " Human Health Care" .....perfect i thought ....it's small , it will have medicine and hopefully a decent doctor who can either give me meds or something chinese are famous for - the drip ....that is their cure for EVERYTHING here ....stick a needle in the back of ones hand and voila ...feel better!!  I open the sliding door and there is a woman to greet me ....i look behind and couldn't believe my eyeballs ........VIBRATORS, BIG FAKE PENISES, FAKE VAGINAS, FAKE BOOBS , ALLLLL  THE SEX TOYS YOU COULD EVER WANT !! I smiled and politely said oh i'm sorry  .....i must have the wrong place !!  So pissed off ....i came home !! There's human health care for yah !!

This is a short one ...but something i really can't understand or get used to !!

Noone is EVER hungry in China .....they eat and eat and eat ...continuously , there is no shortage of food anywhere....i do not understand it as most of them are so thin !!

What gets me is their breakfast .....us foreigners do like a nice and tasty breaky ....for example , cereal , fruit, toast , maybe yogurt , coffee , muffin etc ....WELL NOT HERE .....Chinese people eat the LEFTOVERS from the night before supper ....COLD too (which is usually meat, friend vegetables, fish etc.....they also eat or should i say SLURP what they call zhou ....it's hot water mixed with rice ...so it's runny and has a slimy texture ....gross !! They think we are weird to eat bread or drink milk etc for breaky .....now i know why the hospitals are packed full and their health is so bad !!

Hi Again !!

Like why can't people just say it to your face ????

Chinese women are the most two -faced , back stabbing women in the world !! Well first of all .....I'm tall, have long blonde naturally curly hair , BIG boobs, big green eyes , looonnngggg eye lashes and  straight white teeth ....so basically THE TOTAL OPPOSITE TO ANY CHINESE WOMEN !!!  They stare at me EVERYWHERE i go ...i absolutely can't stand ...it's so rude and VERY annoying ! Something that takes a long time getting used to ....elevators and buses are the WORST !!

I can't tell you how many times i have been in a room / restaurant with chinese people and all of a sudden i happen to notice 2 girls standing while one is whispering into the others ear ....like i mean obvious ...the hand up over the mouth and all .....THEN they BOTH stop and turn their heads to stare RIGHT AT ME ......like please do they honestly think that i am that dumb that i don't know they are talking about me  ??? I now speak Chinese very well ...so i get up walk over and straight to their faces and i ask them if they have a problem ....OR would they like to say that to my face !! They immediately turn beet red and reply NO NO .....apologize (knowing they've been caught) ...and usually walk away real fast !! HAHA ...GOTCHA BITCHES!!

The worst is working with them !! They are nasty back stabbing cats ....as soon as u walk out of an office ....they IMMEDIATELY start talking about you ....trust me i've hid around the corner and listened...it happens to me all the time ! I do get many women and approach by saying "you are really beautiful , I'm jealous of you " .....then i think ...yah whatever ! As soon as you say or do something wrong ...it's straight to the phone and tattle tell on you to the boss !! Very easy to lose a job here !

Let me tell you about my best friend from up north ...her Englsih name is Linda ( chinese woman) ......she called me one night and asked if i would like to dine with her and her classmates for dinner ! I said sure and away we went ! We all sat and ate ....and ate ....and ate ...and drank till we exploded ....they did the toasting and loads of garbage flew out of theirs mouths as usual .....they all reminised about the past years ...and are so happy they are all BEST friends ..and blah blah blah .....we finally leave ( in china ..dinners and lunches are usually minimum 2 hours long) ......as linda and i are walking home she says " Wow ...i'm so glad that is over " ....i said " Why ?" ....she then says " I hate them all ....actually i can't stand them" .....i said ..."What ? ...u were just in there telling each other all kinds of nice stuff " .....she says ..."Yah Sarah ...this is china ...     we don't want to lose face " !!!!

Me Again !!!

To me ...this is all VERY interesting , while living here i've noticed that EVERYTHING is the total opposite to my country Canada !

Here are some examples :

At a restaurant in Canada ( and growing up) we are raised to finish everything on our plate , if we don't ...the server will assume that we do not like the meal ....so in other words ....clean plate =good food ! Well here that is totally not the case .....if u happen to finish all that is on ur plate here ....they will assume that there was not enough food for you meaning u still need more and they did not prepare enough !! Strange ...but just different !

Another thing ....in school we are told to call our teachers by Mr. or Mrs ....to me this is polite and the right way ( of course followed by their last names ).....i've even had some teachers tell me to call them by their first names (they were the cool ones) ...well NOT HERE .....to them it's ALWAYS teacher ....if u dare call a teacher by their first or last name ...consider urself in bit deep trouble , followed by a beating ( yes they do that here too= hey another blog idea) !!

Something else that drives me crazy is how they call their own family members ....i have a sister and her name is Rachael ....so if i need her i simply say "Rachael" ........in China , they consider that rude ......it should be mei mei which means younger sister or jiejie for older sister ........so in china family members are called by what they are in member ...not by name ....drives me nuts ! And i think it's rude !  BUT The worst ....is they even call their friends and /or classmates sister or brothers ....i hate this when someone is introducing people to me .....it goes like this " This is my sister , and she is my sister , he is my brother , and so is he " .....I then reply ..WOW ur parents were buuuuuusy .......they finally realize what i mean and say " no they are my fathers sisters children and she sits beside me in class" ...then i say ..."Ohhhhhhhhhhh .....u mean cousins = not ur brothers and sisters and she is ur classmate NOT ur sister " ......see there you go Shit for brains !

They have this thing about cutting their little baby boys hair , something about their lunar calendar crap ....must cut or shave their head on February 2nd ....( in chinese days hahahahha) .....i think this is dumb ....when hair is long ...cut it !

Marriage : My family always told me that when 2 are inlove and about to get married .....all the parents usually sit and discuss who will pay for what ! NOT HERE .....if u have a son ...the sons parents must pay for EVERYTHING !! Weird and how sad ! ( my chinese family is very poor , so i ended up paying for everything for my own wedding ) !!

Speaking of marriage ...their weddings and ceremonies are PATHETIC ......they are the most un romnatic people in the world ! First the couple must get their marriage certificate , once they have that ....the family members and friends gather at a chosen restaurant to have what they call a wedding.  They have one boring master of ceremony as the speaker at the front ......the bride and groom stand with him , they do NO vows , NO exchanging of the rings ...GET THIS .....the bride must buy a WATCH for her hubby not a ring .....this is one tradition i HATE !!! The bride says a few words , then the groom , then the parents ....everyone eats , has a drink and by 12 lunch time .......IT'S ALLLL OVER !!  What a waste of time and money .....there is little kissing done between the couple , no music , no dancing ...it's horrible !!    

Another thing that is really different .......well this refers to mainly up north ...but in china to be a drinker shows that u are a MAN .....if u don't drink = u are weak and not a real man ! Where i come from to me a real man is one that does not drink and act like a puking moron !!  Also ....when giving a toast ....others must follow ....for example ...if i give a speech and "gan bei" = bottoms up ...then the others must bottom up their glasses too ! Trust me - u get drunk fast as there is little time to eat and each person must do a toast ......at a 12 people dinner gathering .....u can imagine !! Gan Bei !!    

These are just a few examples of just how opposite their culture is ....i don't agree with any of it ...but i am not about to change any of it either !! I'll think of more as the
