You are so FAT !!! read this ....

Hi all !!!

Hope you have been enjoying my stories  as much as i have been writing them ! I 'm so pleased with the feedback ...all positive stuff thanks keep it coming !!

Well we all know that there are millions of over weight people in this world ...some of us can help it and some can't ! I know people do look down on those that are heavy and in our heads WE ALL make comments ......well not in China .....THEY WILL SAY IT RIGHT TO UR FACE !! I know i wrote before about the two faced thing  ...but this is something we don't want to hear said to our faces !! Old people , young people ....even small children will say " wow ....you are so fat " ......it is especially embarrassing infront of many people !  In chinese the word fat is PENG ......so when u hear "Ni tai peng" = "you are very fat"  .....it's not music to the ears !! I was over weight when i first came to china and because of their EXTREMELY FATTENING food ...i gained even more ....about 4 months after being here i finally said ok this has to stop ....i started to really cut down and do some serious exercising ! I lost 150 lbs NATURALLY by myself in no time !! I felt great and the best part was i could buy clothes in china and i didnt have to hear the word PENG anymore !!  Since some really bad depression here and i had a minor operation done on my knee last year i have gained back all my weight ....i eat because it's comforting like most of us do , I now hear this word more than 5 times a day .....i have learned to ignore or when i'm  in a really bad mood and i speak chinese i simply tell them "You are ignorant and i am foreigner ...DO NOT EVER SAY THAT AGAIN ....if u were in my country ...u would get a smack in the face" ......most are understanding and some even do apologize ......it really freaks them out when i show them skinny pictures of me in my wedding and tell them that it's the chinese food that has gotten me this way !! Of course they deny that too like everything else!!

I live in Singapore and 75% population are chinese. Correction: Skinny chinese.
It's been my belief that men like meat, only dogs like bone.
Yes, greasy food are very fattening but there's nothing wrong in being bigger than these skinny people. The chinese are ignorant even the modern ones have no manners. I'm not sure what to say about the rural chinese but after reading your blog, i think i've got my answer. Don't let them get to you!
If they say something unpleasant to your face, do the same thing to them. Honestly, even in Singapore, i am faced with racism from them everytime i'm out on the streets!
Buck up, Sarah. Fight for your survival.
