outwarly healing
inwardly bleeding
seemingly stronger
actually weaker-
The pain

takes so much out of me
I'll never be rid of it,
I will never be free.

always to see
everyday a reminder
and a part of me
The people
people
they'll never know
I can hide it but
if they find out
they won't let me go.

they boast and condem
