Born and raised in a little country town in the united states, I knew from a early age i wanted to travel and explore the world. I used to be a country girl using a city heart, and the small town of about 2500 people had not been where my calling lied.
After earning a teaching degree I decided it's here we are at a change. I wanted to travel outside the US, therefore i started to explore opportunities available elsewhere personally. A few weeks later I discovered a fantastic teaching position in Rome, Italy.
I had been hired for your position which would start at the beginning of the brand new school year. I began making preparations and before I knew it arrived will be able to board a jet and commence a new life within this fantastic country. It absolutely was a thing that was eagerly anticipated though nerve wrecking.
Im often asked things i like about teaching in Italy. This is not an easy question to resolve. It isnt which i hate anything about teaching in Italy; you will find quite a few things that I love about this to easily choose one. This is, by far, the most beautiful experience that i've ever been a part of.
Obviously my paycheck is something i love also. Working at a top university in Rome, my pay is much more than what I would have found in America. I love to go to work and see those paychecks!
But, to love employment you must love more than the paycheck, and that i know that I truly love everything about working as an instructor within Italy. My students encourage me in so many ways. They make it easy to wind down, unwind and feel as though I'm amongst a small grouping of old college friends. There exists a great time day in and outing, whilst they learn nearly as much as me.
The work offers us a great schedule. I'm able to teach my students and still be home when my children get free from school. Sometimes part-time but receive benefits and pay. I am not sure the hours and the schedule that I have could be something I could find working anywhere else.
Furthermore, i love in Rome as there is a lot to discover and so much will be able to learn . It's far distinct from a few things i am used to, however i enjoy every minute from it. There is no dull moment for me, and I can say that we are living life for the fullest.I love a brief history in Rome, I really like the folks in addition to their eagerness to find out.
For anybody considering teaching in another country, Italy happens when being. Making the decision to travel abroad and teach on this school is a truly remarkable experience which includes forever changed my well being. I am so grateful which i was given the opportunity. It isnt every day that this kind of opportunity arrives.
