...then hell was upon
my brow
for they knew
as they had been
here first
before me
and I was the shining light
to them
of hell's fire
and the way of
Silcharde
the wrong
and Lucifer
the wrong
and
the wrong
and
the wrong
and I found
I was wrong
because they had
already arrived
before me
and accepted
what was here...
they knew not
starlight
and dark beauty
of black night
they knew only
sayer
and destruction
by the hand
of theirs
and they said
sayer
say not
for you are
arrived
second
and
know nothing
so I
said not
and I
thought of
flowers
and starlight
and
butterflies
and
you
my friend
kind
and
good
and
trusting
and I
was afraid
for you.....
