No More Numpty Feelings for Outlook Emailers

Let’s be honest, it happens to us all. You send an email that says “please find attached document a or photograph b”.  Later you get an email back  from the intended recipient that says “sorry but I think you forgot to attach the attachment”. Doh, feelings of numptyism probably last all day and you resolve never to do that again…..and yet it seems  there is always a next time.

Catch Attach looks for occurrences of the word attach, attached or attachment, or the other language equivalent (Catch Attach works in virtually any language). It then checks to see if you have actually attached something to the mail and if you have forgotten, a pop up window warns you of this fact and gives you the opportunity to correct your oversight.

The pop up message is pre-configured but can be changed to say anything you wish, for example “whoopsy daisy, you forgot to attach something” or “hey, don’t forget to attach something or you will look foolish”.

Catch Attach can also be user configured to check for other words or parts of words and can also be set to not look at previous email responses in the chain where these words may have occurred.  Email signatures that travel as attachments can also be eliminated from checking.
