I looked for You
everywhere
When all along
You were there

I just didn't listen.

I filled the hole
inside of me
with a lot of stuff
not good for me

while you waited.

I grew tired
and wondered
if You were there
I blundered

right into You!

And as I was reading
Your love letter
I understood
You so much better

That you stood waiting
...loving
...caring
...dying to know me
like I wanted to know You!
