homecoming
Time is changing to what may seem to most as change. Will this change involve you? It depends on what direction your herd (group of people) is moving. But is it is not the horse moving your direction, but the man that is on that horse. Inspiration is not influence, but culture. Culture is how we accept our here and now. We can be inspired to believe, but never to act or demand anything. God himself in the Holy Bible describes the lost ones as sheep. If anyone knows anything about a sheep, they know they are very lame and without a symbol or shepard to guide them. They know they are easily led astray. My hopes for the future doesn't speak for every black man, throughout my eyes I see we're the burden of the world and have a soul, but no backbone to stand. My personal experiences have been experienced in America and felt throughout the world. I acknowledge my existence, although fear many other groups insistently do not. It is not an accomplishment for a black man to lead this country, receive rights, or be treated fairly. It is an opportunity first, to reclaim what has been lost. We are human, not uncivilized creatures who have been taught the ropes and now get a pat on the back. Before we're American, we're African, before we're African we're human. Which is our dignity.
