7/12/2008 - honorable mention
Slavery means no taxation and how that effects slaveowners is what led to conflict. The only way to tax a slave is to free a slave by means of no representation. No other note in American history has described the type of people who could enslave human beings. This type of slavery has an effect when there are centuries of slave thinking and cooperation among the slave when he has no mind of his own and rejects his past and accepts what it has become. Even though now we can be taxed in situations in this day and age even without the right representation it causes poverty. What independence can a black man today particularly in America acknowledge besides the fact that they can be taxed for fixed living in turn settled living outside their own thinking. There isn't a place in the world where we aren't conflicted. We look back on past history and are proud we struggled and that effect is not only celebrated today, but has kept us in silence. Every influence that a black man has had has been attributed even after being a victim of the persecution, is attributed to a white man. We grow up in a society where most of what we see by means of the media, are one people who portray themselves as loving, compassionate people, who see you struggling and crying for the misinterpreted part of integration. How? When there has been no attempt by them of your past suffering and blood of those who were not only hated, but demised have never made acknowledgement or effort in mass movement to integrate or put as much effort into peace as you cry to be loved by the oppressor. This talk is overdue, but not regarded to the fact that minds are still captured and nurtured by the medium of the "American Dream." That dream is a corn field, two story home, great fun and pleasure, but does not put you in demand of everything from your personal life to your economic situation. This dream is a reality to the ones who are taxed fairly with representation. To say that blacks need to be accountable, does not make the government of hand outs and prison cells in any way accountable to the masses of blacks who are broken and oppressed.
